Emerging Neurologist

Emerging Neurologist publishes scientific articles authored by at least one early-career neurologist (resident or clinical fellow/assistant professor). All published articles undergo double-blind peer review. The journal is intended for researchers and healthcare practitioners, with a particular focus on the field of neurology.

The journal publishes three categories of articles: case reports, review articles, and original research articles. It covers the following areas: neurophysiology, behavioral neuroscience, neuropsychology, neuropsychiatry, cognitive disorders, neuroimmunology, neuroinflammatory diseases, neuromuscular disorders, neurovascular diseases, neurological intensive care, epilepsy, sleep disorders, movement disorders, headache and pain, neuro-ophthalmology, neuro-otology, neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, neuropathology, palliative medicine, history of neurology, neuroinfectiology, neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, neurorehabilitation, pediatric neurology, and neurogenetics.

Readers can also access resources developed as part of the PAYS project (Publishing Academy for Young Scientists), carried out in partnership by the FIJNF and Université Paris Cité. This initiative aims to strengthen the skills of first-time authors, including scientific writing, academic English, data management, and procedural transparency related to issues of research integrity.
