Roadmap

OPUS and open science

The OPUS - Open Publishing Services - editorial platform is one of the key actions of the Université Paris Cité's open science roadmap (https://u-paris.fr/science-ouverte/feuille-de-route/). All content published on the OPUS platform is available on an open access basis, promoting the unhindered dissemination of the results, methods and products of scientific research.

In the context of public policies at French level (National Plan for Open Science 2021-2024, https://www.ouvrirlascience.fr/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Deuxieme-Plan-National-Science-Ouverte_2021-2024.pdf/), European level (Plan S, https://www.coalition-s.org/); Horizon Europe 2021-2027, https://ec.europa.eu/info/horizon-europe-next-research-and-innovation-framework-programme_en/) and global level (UNESCO recommendations, https://unesdoc.unesco.org/ark:/48223/pf0000379949_fre/), making scientific publications open must now become an essential practice. The French research programming law sets a target of 100% open access publications by 2030.
